Kostyuk emphasized that this decision stems from Kasatkina’s public opposition to the war in Ukraine. “The only person I shake hands with is Daria Kasatkina, because she didn’t just change her passport-she openly stated she does not support the war, and so on. That’s why I and the other girls decided to shake her hand-out of respect,” Kostyuk said.
