Just two years ago, Elena was independently tending to her garden at her age, keeping chickens until she was 101. But last year she had to hand over the birds to her neighbors as she spent her first winter at home at the request of her relatives.
“The little house is no longer young, and just a little warmth is enough for it. I was scared to leave it alone. So in winter, we only have the cat Dasha,” said her niece Anna Bohdanovych.
It is reported that the cat named Dasha belonged to a neighbor until her owner returned in the spring.
Elena Ioschkova, who has never owned a television, has a special passion for reading newspapers and magazines. She usually goes to bed at seven in the evening and rests during the day.
