In Poland, the number of Ukrainians opening their own businesses under the franchise of the popular Żabka chain is rapidly increasing. Currently, about 1100 citizens of Ukraine manage stores of this chain. This is reported by “inPoland”.

According to the company's data, Ukrainians have become the second largest group among partners after Poles. In just the last year, nearly 600 new entrepreneurs from Ukraine have joined the franchising model.

The Żabka network continues to actively expand. By the end of 2025, it had over 12 thousand points of sale, including outside Poland. In just one year, more than a thousand new stores were opened.

Most Ukrainian franchisees have been living in Poland for a long time, indicating stable integration into the local economy.

This confirms the trend that Ukrainians are increasingly transitioning from hired labor to their own businesses.
It was also previously reported that in 2025, Ukrainian citizens registered about 33 thousand new companies in Poland. This accounts for approximately 10% of all new businesses in the country, highlighting the active involvement of Ukrainians in the development of the Polish economy.
