122 Combat Clashes in One Day: Pokrovsk Sector Sees the Most Intense Fighting

According to Главком: As of 10:00 PM on May 3, 2023, the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine reports ongoing hostilities in the full-scale war, now in its 1,530th day. A total of 122 combat engagements were recorded, with the Pokrovsk direction experiencing the most intense activity. During the day, the enemy launched one missile strike using two rockets and carried out 49 airstrikes, dropping 180 guided aerial bombs.

Kamikaze drones are being used extensively on the front lines, with 6,421 such unmanned aerial vehicles recorded. Overall, the enemy conducted 2,400 shelling attacks on populated areas and Ukrainian military positions. In the Pokrovsk sector, 66 occupiers were eliminated and 28 were wounded. Six units of automotive equipment and five units of special equipment were destroyed, along with one enemy command post. Two artillery systems, three automotive units, three special equipment units, one UAV command post, and 20 enemy shelters were damaged.

In the North-Slobozhansk and Kursk directions, the enemy launched two airstrikes, dropping four aerial bombs, and carried out 53 shelling attacks, two of which used multiple launch rocket systems. One enemy assault was recorded in these areas. In the South-Slobozhansk direction, the enemy attacked three times toward Starytsia, Lyman, and Mytrofanivka. In the Kupyansk direction, the enemy launched one assault toward Kurylivka.

In the Lyman direction, Ukrainian forces successfully repelled five assaults toward Lyman, Novyi Myr, Drobysheve, and Ozerne. In the Sloviansk direction, the enemy attacked twice toward Rai-Oleksandrivka and Riznykivka. In the Kostiantynivka direction, occupiers stormed positions 19 times in the areas of the following settlements:
