This remarkable achievement was officially verified by Lana Vetrova, head of the National Register of Records of Ukraine. Oleksandr began his barber training at age 12, enrolling in the Barbering School at BARBERSSHOP OB in his hometown.

Driven to hone his craft, Oleksandr attended workshops led by renowned barbers such as Kenzo and Bled Raineri. These experiences significantly contributed to his rapid progress. Beyond barbering, Oleksandr has also been boxing since he was four years old, earning recognition for his athletic accomplishments.

Ukraine’s Young Record Holders Making Their Mark

Oleksandr’s record is part of a broader wave of young Ukrainians setting impressive milestones. For instance, 12-year-old Timur Prokhira from Ternopil became the youngest person to summit all six of the Ukrainian Carpathian peaks above 2,000 meters. Meanwhile, 4-year-old David Dulohlo from Odesa completed an astonishing 1,150 continuous squats in 1 hour, 9 minutes, and 48 seconds, establishing a new national record. Additionally, 2-year-old Anya Yakimchuk from the Odesa region became the youngest child to swim 50 meters freestyle.

• A 15-year-old Kyiv high school student who set national records in French (DALF C2) and English (C1);
• A 12-year-old strongman from Zakarpattia who broke a record on the TV show ‘Ukraine’s Got Talent’;
• A 7-year-old Ukrainian who achieved five national records over a month across three countries.
