13 years without Bohdan Stupka. The son of the legendary actor shared archival photos

"13 years without you, dad. The number is already double digits, but the feeling is still as if it happened very recently. You were not just a dad to me; you were the first example, the first teacher – both in life and on stage. Your experiences, victories and defeats, your advice are still with me. I carry them not only as memories but as tools and instructions – how to live in this world," he wrote.

Ostap emphasized that the absence of his father's wisdom, humor, and always appropriate words complicates his life. "Thank you for being who you were and for everything you left behind. I love you," he added. The National Academic Dramatic Theatre named after Ivan Franko also immortalized the actor's memory. They emphasized that Bohdan Stupka, as an artist, was an incredibly important figure for the theater and deserves respect. Bohdan Sylvestrovych Stupka was an outstanding Ukrainian actor who gained popularity for his talent in both cinema and theater. He was born on August 27, 1941, in the town of Kulikiv, Lviv region, and passed away in 2012 in Kyiv. The actor worked on over 100 roles in theater and about 100 in cinema. During his time at the Franko Theater, Bohdan Stupka played key roles in productions such as 'Stolen Happiness', 'Uncle Vanya', 'King Lear', and others. For 13 years since his death, the memory of Bohdan Stupka lives on both among his relatives and among fans of Ukrainian cinema and theater. He left unforgettable marks in world culture, both as an actor and as a teacher, and his work continues to inspire new generations.
