According to Главком: On April 23, the frontline saw 144 combat engagements. Over the course of the day, the enemy launched 52 airstrikes, dropped 176 guided aerial bombs, and deployed 3,139 kamikaze drones. In total, 1,936 shelling attacks targeted Ukrainian settlements and military positions. This marks the 1,520th day of the full-scale war in Ukraine.

Frontline Situation

In the Southern Slobozhanskyi sector, the enemy carried out 67 shelling attacks, two of which involved multiple launch rocket systems. In the same area, opposing forces launched five assaults on positions near Zelené, Lyman, Bochkove, and around Synelnykove. In the Kupiansk sector, Ukrainian defenders repelled five attacks directed at Radkivka, Podoly, Kurylivka, Novoosinove, and Hlushkivka.

In the Lyman sector, Ukrainian troops halted three attempts to advance toward the city of Lyman. In the Sloviansk sector, two assault operations were stopped near Zakytne and toward Rai-Oleksandrivka. In the Kramatorsk sector, the enemy did not conduct offensive actions, but in the Kostiantynivka sector, defense forces repelled 13 assaults near Kostiantynivka, Pleshchiivka, Illinivka, Oleksandro-Shultyne, Sofiivka, and Novopavlivka.

The highest number of attacks was recorded in the Pokrovsk sector, where the enemy carried out 28 assaults. In the Oleksandrivka sector, occupying forces made eight attempts to improve their positions. In the Huliaipole sector, 14 attacks occurred, while in the Orikhiv sector, the enemy did not conduct offensive operations but launched airstrikes on Komyshuvakha and Yurkivka. In the Dnipro sector, the enemy conducted three assault operations toward the Antonivskyi Bridge and Bilohrudyi Island.

The frontline remains tense, marked by numerous combat clashes and active shelling from the enemy.

This day featured significant combat activity, reflecting the continuation of an intense war that has now lasted over four years. The increase in enemy attacks and airstrikes across multiple sectors signals a push to escalate military operations, potentially leading to further conflict intensification.
