Ukraine and partners agreed on financing: key decisions for recovery

On November 24, the 15th meeting of the Steering Committee of the Ukrainian Donors' Platform took place, which is an important coordination center for supporting Ukraine by international partners. This year's meeting was special as it was held offline in Kyiv for the first time in three years.

The ceremony was opened by Prime Minister Yulia Svyrydenko. The meeting was also attended by Deputy Prime Minister Taras Kachka, Minister of Economy, Environment, and Agriculture Oleksiy Sobolev, Minister of Finance Serhiy Marchenko, and other representatives of the government, the European Commission, the U.S. State Department, and international financial organizations.

“Participants of the meeting discussed the reform agenda and integration into the EU, ensuring Ukraine's budgetary needs, financing of recovery and energy resilience, and mechanisms for attracting private capital,” said Oleksiy Sobolev, Minister of Economy, Environment, and Agriculture.

Oleksiy Sobolev emphasized the effective operation of capital attraction instruments that Ukraine launched together with European partners. After the discussion, participants confirmed their readiness for joint financial planning to ensure macro-financial support for Ukraine and accelerate its integration into the European economic space.

The Steering Committee of the Ukrainian Donors' Platform discussed key aspects of developing and supporting Ukraine from international partners, particularly regarding reforms, financing, and mechanisms for attracting private capital. Participants confirmed their readiness for joint work to ensure macro-financial support and accelerate Ukraine's integration into the European economic space.
