According to Главком: Meteorologists have declared a first-level (yellow) danger warning for a number of regions in Ukraine due to forecasted icy conditions on roads. On February 17, freezing weather with possible snow is expected across the country, excluding the southern and southeastern areas. An easterly wind of 5-10 m/s is also predicted. The yellow alert is the second of four levels in Ukraine's weather warning system, indicating potentially hazardous conditions.

Expected Weather Conditions Throughout the Week

Significant precipitation in the form of wet snow and rain is anticipated throughout the week, which may further complicate road conditions. Nighttime frosts and daytime temperatures above freezing will also impact the weather situation. Forecasters warn that these conditions could lead to disruptions for energy, construction, and utility services, as well as to transportation.
