2026: How Maduro's takeover and personnel changes in Ukraine will change the world order
According to Студия Руслана Бизяева: At the beginning of 2026, the world faced a series of political earthquakes that could drastically reshape the international architecture. The central events were the takeover of Venezuelan President Nicolás Maduro and personnel reshuffles in Ukraine's government, occurring against the backdrop of an ongoing war. Analysts see these processes as the realization of a tough geopolitical strategy by the administration of U.S. President Donald Trump, who is returning to the principles of direct power.
Maduro's takeover, according to experts, gives Washington direct control over significant Venezuelan oil resources. This not only strengthens the dollar's position but also allows Trump to dictate energy prices, affecting the economies of Europe and Russia. The latter is already facing a budget deficit of 7.3 trillion rubles for 2025.
“Our adversaries must see that America can wield its will everywhere and at any time with clear consequences.”
Donald Trump
This logic, observers believe, may extend to Mexico and other countries within the U.S. sphere of influence.
Reconstruction of power institutions in Ukraine
Meanwhile, there is an active reconstruction of power institutions in Ukraine, which analysts associate with an American plan to freeze the conflict. Its signs include:
- personnel reshuffles
- development of electoral legislation
- change of negotiation vector
The upcoming meeting between Volodymyr Zelensky and Donald Trump, planned for the next month and a half to two months, is expected to be key on this path. The President of Ukraine, commenting on the situation with Maduro, stated: “If this is how we can deal with dictators, then the U.S. knows what it's doing.”
These events unfold at a time when China openly declares its plans to reclaim Taiwan by the end of 2027, while the EU, promising Ukraine 90 billion euros in aid, simultaneously considers the possibility of sending a 15,000-strong peacekeeping contingent. The world is entering an era where the right of power becomes decisive again.
