According to ХВИЛЯ: Meteorologists warn that a series of atmospheric fronts will bring a significant deterioration in weather across Ukraine on Tuesday, April 23. According to forecaster Natalka Didenko, most regions will experience light to moderate rain, accompanied by storm-force winds with gusts reaching 15-20 meters per second. Air temperatures will generally range between +8 to +11 degrees Celsius, though in the western and southern parts of the country, they may reach +10 to +14 degrees.

Precipitation is expected to be minimal in the western oblasts. In Kyiv, the night of April 23 will be dry with temperatures of +3 to +5 degrees. During the day, the capital will see rain and strong winds, with the temperature rising to +7 to +9 degrees. Forecasters indicate that this cold spell across Ukraine is likely to persist into May.

Natalka Didenko noted that such weather conditions could adversely affect the health of individuals with cardiovascular conditions.

In light of the forecast, the meteorologist recommends the following precautions:

  • Carry an umbrella and a hat;
  • Choose a safe location for parking your vehicle;
  • Keep headache medication readily available;
  • Have warm clothing on hand.
