Трагічні наслідки обстрілів: десятки загиблих і поранених у містах України 29 жовтня.

The Devastation of October 29

According to Рубрика — Суспільство: On October 29, a series of intense Russian attacks targeted multiple Ukrainian cities, resulting in tragic loss of life and numerous injuries. Among the victims was Anna, a mother of twin children, who heroically shielded her daughter Ksenia and son Yehor during the assault, sacrificing her own life. This heartbreaking incident is one of many that day, marking a grim chapter in the ongoing conflict.

In Kremenchuk, a Russian drone struck a residential apartment building, killing three people and injuring 32 others, including six children. Nine of the wounded were hospitalized, with two in critical condition. Anna was among those who died in the attack; her funeral is scheduled for October 31 at 2:00 PM in the village of Pohreby.

Inna Soloshenko, a close friend of Anna, shared her grief: "A part of me left with you today. I never told you enough and didn’t hug you nearly enough. You were the kindest, brightest person I have ever known. Today, we lost you. Everyone loved you, Anuta."

Attacks on Civilian Targets

On the same day, Russian forces struck a civilian electric train in Dnipro, killing 14 people and injuring another 14. Six of the wounded are in serious condition, including an 11-year-old boy. Russian drones also attacked Chernihiv, where two 15-year-old girls were killed and 11 people injured. In Kyiv, a ballistic missile strike claimed one life and caused a fire in the courtyard of a residential complex due to falling debris.

Overall, the assaults on October 29 resulted in at least 20 deaths and over 80 injuries across the affected cities. Ukraine has called for an urgent United Nations Security Council meeting to address these large-scale attacks on civilian areas in Dnipro, Chernihiv, Kremenchuk, and Kyiv.

Inna Soloshenko added: "Their father is incredibly strong, and I believe they will get through this difficult time together. Yehor will definitely become a football player, just as his mother dreamed. I know our Anna will be watching over him from above with pride."

These tragic events highlight the severe impact of the ongoing conflict on Ukraine’s civilian population. The deliberate targeting of non-military sites raises grave international concerns as innocent lives, including those of children, continue to be lost. The increasing death toll underscores the urgent need for global action to respond to the persistent aggression.

The ongoing conflict has seen a troubling escalation, with civilian areas increasingly targeted. This follows a recent incident where a massive missile and drone assault struck various parts of Ukraine, resulting in fatalities and injuries, including one death in Kyiv.
