According to ХВИЛЯ: On October 3, Ukraine will experience dry and sunny conditions with clear skies prevailing nationwide, thanks to a dominant high-pressure system. Nighttime frost is expected in nearly all regions except the southern areas. Daytime temperatures will vary by location, ranging between +14°C and +23°C. In the capital, Kyiv, the maximum temperature will reach around +18°C. Meteorologist Nataliya Didenko reports that an anticyclone will maintain these stable and bright weather patterns throughout the day.

Regional Temperature Differences

Specifically, daytime highs in Zakarpattia will be in the range of +20°C to +23°C, while the northeast part of the country will remain cooler, with temperatures between +14°C and +16°C. It’s worth noting that light frost was also observed on October 2 but did not affect all regions uniformly.

'An anticyclone, amusingly named like the traditional Ukrainian soup, borscht, will continue to bring dry, clear, and sunny weather across Ukraine on October 3,' explained Nataliya Didenko.

She added, 'We can still admire flowers that haven’t frozen, cook borscht, hunt for mushrooms, shuffle leaves in parks, and stay close together.'

However, a shift in the weather is forecast for October 9-10, with rain and cooler temperatures expected to alter the country’s atmospheric conditions.

The warmer temperatures on October 3 offer a welcome chance for Ukrainians to enjoy the final mild days of autumn. Yet, with colder and wetter weather approaching later in the month, residents should prepare for changing conditions.
