Today it was announced that 40 new trainers have received certificates to prepare candidates for family-based upbringing. These specialists will help children find new families and will train those who want to become guardians or adopters.
According to Lyudmyla Shemelinets: «The willingness of people to take responsibility for raising a child depends on how well trainers convey the real challenges. Problems are not a failure, but an opportunity for personal growth».
The training process lasted for 10 months and included 220 hours of training, starting from theory and ending with practical skills. Special thanks to the program organizers Partnership for Every Child / Every Child and UNICEF Ukraine for their collaboration and support in implementing the project.
