Regular Changes in the Medical Field

Furthermore, 14,325 licenses belong to companies, of which 12,377 are active. Private companies make up almost 64% of the total number of licensed companies. As for the regional distribution of licenses among companies, there are 2,493 in Kyiv, 1,006 in Dnipropetrovsk region, 727 in Lviv region, 711 in Kharkiv region, and 679 in Odesa region.

Since the beginning of 2025, 250,209 self-employed individuals in Ukraine have ceased their activities. Specifically, in January 2025, there were 59,723 cases of business cessation. These data indicate the dynamics of changes in the country's medical field, which require further analysis and attention from government authorities.

The increase in the number of medical practice licenses indicates the activation of medical professionals working independently, as well as the demand for certain specialties such as dentistry. At the same time, the decrease in the number of self-employed individuals may indicate economic difficulties or changes in legislation affecting business activities in the medical sector. The situation requires careful monitoring to understand its impact on the availability of medical services in Ukraine.
