The Ukraine U-23 Boxing Team Won 8 Medals at the European Championship: Names of the Champions

From November 21 to 30, the European Boxing Championship for athletes under 23 years old took place in Budapest, Hungary. A total of 271 participants from 32 countries competed, including 20 Ukrainians.

The Ukraine team won 8 medals at this competition. European champions included Tetiana Dovhal in the 60 kg weight category and Artur Kuzmenko in the 65 kg weight category. Silver medals were won by Maksym Rudyk (50 kg), Olha Pylypchuk (75 kg), and Iryna Lutsak (80 kg). Bronze medals were awarded to Viktoriia Shkeul (54 kg), Maksym Zimenko (55 kg), and Rasul Huliiev (60 kg).

Ukrainian boxers overall secured third place in the team standings at the U-23 European Boxing Championship. Congratulations to the athletes on their successful performance and best wishes for new victories!
