According to Главком: On January 9, snow and wet snow are expected in Ukraine, however, the intensity of precipitation will decrease. The air temperature will drop, and the weather will be windy. During the day, the cyclone will gradually shift north, leading to a reduction in precipitation, and forecasts suggest that it will be possible to safely clear the snow where it has accumulated and clean the roads with sidewalks.

The air temperature in different regions of Ukraine will be:

• Western regions: from -5 to -10°C
• North: from -4 to -9°C
• East: from -3 to +3°C
• Center: from -3 to -8°C
• South: from -2 to +4°C

In the coming days, a strong wind with gusts of up to 15-20 meters per second is also expected. A drop in temperature is forecast, especially at night, making these days the coldest after Epiphany. Further frosts will intensify, but precipitation will decrease.

The drop in temperature and strengthening winds may create difficult conditions for movement; however, the reduction in precipitation will allow for road clearing. This is important to ensure safety on highways and improve conditions for pedestrians.
