96-year-old actress who survived the Holocaust has died in Switzerland with her husband

According to glavcom.ua: An actress and dancer Ruth Posner has died in Switzerland. Together with her husband Michael, they made a decision to commit suicide at an assisted suicide clinic. The couple had lived together for nearly their entire lives, being together for almost 75 years. According to friends and relatives, it was their joint decision, and they did not pressure anyone in any way. They chose to leave since their loss of strength and deteriorating vision and hearing made their existence boring and miserable.

Ruth Posner was born in Poland and survived the Holocaust, after which she ended up in Great Britain where she pursued a career in acting and dancing.
