Acer Launches Two New Smart Glasses Models

According to НВ — Техно: On June 3 at 8:15 PM, Acer introduced two new glasses models: the AR Vision GR0 and the Acer GI0. Each device comes with distinct technical specs and features, offering users a fresh take on virtual and augmented reality experiences.

Technical Specifications of the Models

The AR Vision GR0 glasses boast high resolution: 1920×1080 in 2D mode and 3840×1080 in 3D mode. They are equipped with dual micro OLED screens featuring a 60 Hz refresh rate, 200 nits of brightness, and a 50000:1 contrast ratio. With 95% coverage of the DCI-P3 color gamut, the image quality is impressive. The visual experience is comparable to viewing a 172-inch screen from a distance of 6 meters. Weighing just 69 grams, these glasses are compatible with Android, iOS, and Windows platforms, and they connect to devices via a wired link.

In contrast, the Acer GI0 model operates wirelessly. It comes with Wi-Fi 5 and Bluetooth 5.0 connectivity, weighs only 46 grams, and is compatible with Android 12 and iOS 15. The GI0 features a built-in AI assistant, Google Gemini, along with a 12 MP camera capable of capturing photos at 3024×4032 pixels and recording 1920×1080 video at 30 frames per second. The device also includes three built-in microphones, 32 GB of eMMC storage, and a 217 mAh battery.

Acer will announce the start of sales for these new glasses models in Ukraine at a later date.

The launch of these new Acer glasses highlights the growing interest in virtual and augmented reality technologies, which are becoming increasingly popular in fields ranging from entertainment to education.
