FSB agent who planned terrorist attacks near military facilities sentenced
According to glavcom.ua: A Russian national who planned terrorist attacks in Khmelnytskyi has been sentenced to 15 years in prison with confiscation of property, according to information from the Security Service (SBU).
A 32-year-old local resident with a criminal past due to theft and drug trafficking was executing an order from Russian спецслужба. He was recruited by the head of the 'FSB management department for the Republic of Crimea' while searching for 'easy money'.
The agent was tasked with creating homemade explosive devices for attacks near the administrative building of the TCK and the National Guard unit in Khmelnytskyi on the instructions of a Russian curator.
Detained in February of this year during reconnaissance activities near military facilities, the criminal was found guilty of state treason in a military situation by the court's decision.
Moreover, the saboteurs also planned to blow up an explosive device near the regional TCK in Mykolaiv.
As a result of the exposure and conviction of the Russian agent, serious tragedies in various cities of Ukraine were prevented.
