How transport in Zaporizhzhia changed due to the Russian attack on July 8

In Zaporizhzhia, after another Russian attack, the operation of public transport has temporarily changed. Due to emergency power outages in one of the city's districts, the tram route No. 16 has been suspended, and a temporary bus route has been organized for passenger transport. This is reported by the municipal enterprise 'Zaporizhelectrotrans'.

Temporary restrictions have been introduced in the Zavodskyi district of the city. The reason was an emergency power outage that occurred after the enemy attack.

In connection with this, the movement of tram route No. 16 has temporarily ceased until the consequences of the emergency are eliminated and the power supply of the contact network is restored.

In order for residents of the district to continue using public transport, the municipal enterprise has promptly organized an alternative connection.

Temporary bus in Zaporizhzhia will operate instead of tram No. 16

During the suspension of the tram movement, a temporary bus route 'Pavlo-Kichkas - Sedov Street' is in operation. Two buses have been dispatched for passenger transport on this line.

The route scheme and the current schedule of the temporary route can be viewed on the official website of the municipal enterprise 'Zaporizhelectrotrans'.

The enterprise asks the city's residents to be understanding regarding the temporary inconveniences and, if possible, to plan their trips in advance, taking into account the changes in public transport operation.

The resumption of tram route No. 16 will be possible after the elimination of the consequences of the emergency power outage and the stabilization of the transport infrastructure operation.
