Meat Prices in August: Beef Increased by 12 Hryvnias, Chicken Becomes Cheaper

Ukrainians have been informed about how meat prices changed in supermarkets in August. According to the Minfin portal, the cost of meat has risen. Meat has always been considered a very important product in the nutrition of Ukrainians. Many people try to consume it daily, but it is not always possible. This year we are observing a significant difference in beef prices depending on the part of the carcass. For example, beef for goulash costs on average 361.45 hryvnias per kilogram, while ribs cost 280.00 hryvnias per kilogram. Staying on the meat topic, it can be said that chicken prices are somewhat more affordable. Chicken thigh breast costs on average 136.00 hryvnias per kilogram, chicken drumsticks - 99.00 hryvnias per kilogram. There are also products under the brand 'Nasha Ryaba' with their own prices.
