Energy Minister Svitlana Hrynchuk received a salary of 121,933 UAH after taxes in October 2025. The total amount accrued exceeded 158 thousand UAH. Presumably, this is one of her last salaries in office, as the official has already filed for resignation. This is reported by OBOZ.

How much was accrued and what taxes were withheld

According to the Ministry of Energy, in October, Hrynchuk was accrued 158,355 UAH. From this amount, 28,503 UAH in taxes and 7,917 UAH in military tax were withheld. After all deductions, the minister received 121,933 UAH.

The agency's response also stated that the information was provided officially by State Secretary Serhiy Suyark.

Why the minister is resigning

Earlier, President Volodymyr Zelensky stated that Energy Minister Svitlana Hrynchuk and Justice Minister Herman Halushchenko should resign due to a loss of trust.

The reason was the exposure of multi-billion dollar corruption in the energy sector precisely during Hrynchuk's tenure.

On November 12, she submitted her resignation, emphasizing: 'The position has never been an end in itself for me.' The official thanked the president, the Cabinet, and the Verkhovna Rada for the opportunity to work and stated that she had not violated legislation. She called speculations on this topic inappropriate.

The scandal in the energy sector has become one of the loudest in the past year. Authorities report significant abuses in the procurement and distribution of resources. Hrynchuk's resignation could be part of a wide-ranging update of managerial personnel in the sector.
