According to glavcom.ua: On December 11, the Orthodox Church commemorates the memory of Saint Daniel the Stylite - an ascetic of the 5th century who chose an extraordinarily harsh path of stylitism, demonstrating profound faith and patience.
Saint Daniel was born around 409 in Mesopotamia and lived on a pillar near Constantinople for 33 years. This feat was incredibly difficult, yet he strengthened his faith through prayer, and people of various backgrounds came to him to seek advice or blessings.
The omens of this day indicate what the weather may be like in the future, drawing people's attention to observing nature.
