Magaluf is located in Mallorca and is known for its nightlife. At the same time, the island's tourist life has another side: locals organized protests against over-tourism, linking it to a housing crisis and a burden on communities.
Survey on infidelities: why the results do not apply to all tourists
IllicitEncounters specializes in extramarital dating and ongoing relationships. Therefore, the responses of its users cannot be generalized to all vacationers or used as a count of the actual number of infidelities at resorts.
Platform representative Jessica Leoni attributed the behavior of respondents to a combination of vacation, alcohol, and distance from partners. This explanation comes from the service, not a established causal relationship.
The ranking reflects the experiences of a specific audience and is not a new study for 2026. It also does not change local restrictions: earlier, local authorities had implemented rules for tourist behavior in Palma de Mallorca.
