Expected weather in August

According to forecasters, the average monthly temperature is expected to be 20-26°, which is 1.5-2° higher than normal; in the western regions, 17-20° (14-16° in the Carpathians), which is within the norm.

At the same time, the monthly rainfall is expected to be 23-40 mm, which is less (64-73%) than the norm; in the western regions, 60-77 mm (94-116 mm in the Carpathians), which is within (80-120%) of the norm.

Weather forecast for Thursday

Reminder, on Thursday, July 24, forecasters predict warm weather in Ukraine, but variable cloudiness is expected. The temperature in the western and northern regions at night will be 12-17°, during the day 23-28°; in the rest of the territory at night 16-21°, during the day 28-33°.

By the way, extreme weather conditions due to global climate change are causing price spikes for products worldwide. Such a conclusion is contained in a study by the Barcelona Supercomputing Center. The price of olive oil in Europe jumped by 50% last year after prolonged droughts in southern Spain during 2022 and 2023.

As is known, according to the meteorological service, local temperatures exceeding 50°C have been recorded in Iran.
