Actress Malakhova on Violence and Toxicity: I Was Both a Victim and an Aggressor
The theater actress of the Podil Theater Dasha Malakhova defended her colleague Konstantin Temlyak, who was accused of domestic violence and sexual harassment. She also shared her life difficulties and expressed her thoughts on the shared hardships with Temlyak, condemning those who treat the artist unfairly. She published this information in her Facebook post, referring to "Glavkom".
Malakhova pointed out that every life path can have its dark sides, and there is no person who is impeccable. She shared her own experience, admitting that she has been both a victim and an aggressor in her life.
"My life has been full of pain and mistakes. I know what it's like to be both a victim and an aggressor at the same time, to provoke. I blackmailed people I once loved, experienced emotional violence and humiliation," the actress shares.
Furthermore, Malakhova urged Ukrainian society not to resort to bullying and baseless accusations that arise only from ignorance and primitive thinking. She emphasized that domestic violence and toxic relationships are different spheres, and every person should have the opportunity to move towards better.
