The study evaluated the combined price of 10 essential tourist services, placing the Algarve first with a total of £140 (approximately 8,373 Ukrainian hryvnias). Just one year earlier, this destination held third place in the same ranking. Following closely is Bulgaria's Sunny Beach, where the same basket of services costs £142 (around 8,493 hryvnias). At the other end of the spectrum, Sorrento in Italy emerged as the priciest option, with a basic tourist basket totaling £268 (roughly 16,029 hryvnias).

Cost Breakdown of Key Services

The research compared prices for 10 standard tourist services, excluding flight and accommodation costs. In the Algarve, for instance:

• A cup of coffee costs £1.27 (about 76 hryvnias),
• Sunscreen is priced at £9.95 (around 595 hryvnias),
• And a two-course dinner for two adults averages £20.97 (approximately 1,254 hryvnias).

Meanwhile, a family evening meal with drinks is cheapest at Sunny Beach, costing £73 (about 4,366 hryvnias), compared to £78 (around 4,665 hryvnias) in the Algarve.

The full list featured 22 destinations, including Lanzarote, Menorca, Costa Brava, Tenerife, Marmaris, Costa del Sol, Costa Blanca, and Paphos.
