Free rehabilitation programs for children from frontline regions

In 2025, about 10 thousand children from frontline regions of Ukraine, including Sumy region, will have the opportunity to undergo free rehabilitation and health programs abroad. This initiative was announced during a visit to the Sumy Regional Center for Comprehensive Rehabilitation for Children with Disabilities by the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine Andrii Sybiga and his wife Tetiana Sybiga, who is the head of the Association of Ukrainian Diplomatic Spouses.

It is important to note that the total volume of international support for the region has reached 2.3 billion hryvnias. This assistance aims to improve the living conditions of children affected by the conflict and ensure their access to necessary rehabilitation services. The visit took place at the beginning of the new year, highlighting Ukraine's commitment to supporting children in difficult circumstances.

Social support for children

This initiative is an important step towards social support for children affected by the consequences of armed conflict. Free rehabilitation programs abroad can significantly improve the physical and psychological condition of children, contributing to their social integration.

International support, which has already exceeded 2.3 billion hryvnias, demonstrates the growing attention to the issue of rehabilitation and health of children in frontline regions of Ukraine.
