Kyiv's 24/7 'Unbreakable Points'
Starting January 31, 2023, ten Nova Poshta branches in Kyiv will operate around the clock as 'Unbreakable Points.' This initiative is a direct response to the severe energy supply challenges currently facing the capital. These locations will provide residents with a place to warm up, charge their electronic devices, access communication services and Wi-Fi, and withdraw cash.
Locations Operating 24 Hours
The following Nova Poshta branches will serve as all-day 'Unbreakable Points':
- On the Right Bank:
- #310 at 30 Bakyńska Street;
- #308 at 7-9 Nyzhniy Val Street;
- #543 at 16A Khreshchatyk Street;
- #58 at 49 Oleksy Tykhoho Street;
- #243 at 3A Povitryanykh Syl Avenue;
- #88 at 15 Yakuba Kolasa Street;
- #163 at 5 Patriarkha Mstyslava Skrypnyka Street.
- On the Left Bank:
- #19 at 25B Rayduzhna Street;
- #52 at 3 M. Bazhana Avenue;
- #184 at 14B Verkhovnoyi Rady Boulevard.
To conserve electricity, certain restrictions will be in place at these branches. The use of hair dryers, charging stations exceeding 300 W/h, and other high-consumption devices is prohibited. For mothers and children, the branches will provide access to a nebulizer for inhalation therapy. Customers can withdraw cash with or without a commission fee, as well as from a NovaPay card.
This decision reflects the urgent needs of the population during the ongoing energy crisis, a consequence of the war.
These 24/7 'Unbreakable Points' ensure access to essential services, helping to sustain the daily lives of Kyiv's residents. The imposed restrictions on electrical appliance use underscore the critical need for responsible resource consumption during this difficult period. These hubs are part of a broader national network of shelters providing basic utilities during power outages.
