Ukrainian defense startups are impressing the world with their success! According to Dealroom.co, they raised over $105 million in investments in 2025, which accounts for one third of all early investments in defense technology in Europe. The leader in supporting Ukrainian defense tech companies is Brave1, the largest angel investor, who helps them enter the global market and attract venture investments.
Throughout the past year, over 50 Ukrainian defense startups received investments, most actively at the Pre-seed, Seed, and Series A stages. In particular, Swarmer raised $15 million, Tencore — $3.74 million, and Dropla — $2.75 million. It is worth noting that previously, Ukrainian startups raised much less funding, but now they are successfully attracting investments at the level of $2.5–5 million.
Recently, our startups were raising $200–400 thousand, and now they are closing rounds of $2.5–5 million.
