Suspension of electric transport movement on the left bank of Kyiv
On January 12, electric transport movement has been suspended on the left bank of Kyiv. This decision was made by the municipal enterprise 'Kyivpastrans', which announced changes to the movement of trams and trolleybuses. It is noted that transport on the right bank continues to operate, but deviations from schedules are possible.
Suspended routes
In particular, the following tram routes will not operate on the left bank:
- 22т
- 27т
- 28т
- 29т
The movement of trolleybuses has also been suspended, specifically on the following routes:
- 29тр
- 30тр
- 31тр
- 47тр
- 50тр
- 50кр
To ensure passenger transportation during this period, buses are duplicating the routes of trams and trolleybuses.
KP 'Kyivpastrans' urges passengers to consider these changes while planning their trips. The authorities continue to work on eliminating the reasons that led to the suspension of electric transport movement. Changes in movement may affect the daily trips of residents and guests of the capital, so it is important to monitor updates from municipal services.
This situation may significantly impact the mobility of the population, as electric transport is an important part of Kyiv's infrastructure. According to representatives of 'Kyivpastrans', the reasons for the suspension of movement are currently being investigated, and measures are being taken to restore the normal functioning of electric transport in the near future. Passengers are advised to plan their routes using alternative modes of transport while the work to eliminate the issues is ongoing.
