The Frontline Situation in Ukraine
Ukrainian defense forces have repelled numerous attacks across the front, inflicting significant losses on the adversary during 136 combat engagements recorded over the past day. The enemy launched multiple airstrikes and bombardments on various sections of the frontline. This intense level of fighting is characteristic of the ongoing, grinding war of attrition.
Throughout the day, the aggressor carried out 75 airstrikes, dropped 233 guided aerial bombs, and deployed 7,951 kamikaze drones. In total, 3,413 instances of shelling were recorded against populated areas and military positions, with 63 of these barrages coming from multiple launch rocket systems.
Enemy Activity Across Multiple Fronts
The aggressor intensified its activity across several axes. On the North-Slobozhansky and Kursk directions, the enemy conducted three airstrikes using nine aerial bombs and carried out 147 shelling attacks, 12 of which were from MLRS. In the Kupiansk direction, the aggressor launched one attack toward the settlement of Podoly.
On the Lyman direction, the enemy made six attempts to breach the defense toward the settlements of Cherneshchyna, Drobycheve, and Lyman. Defenders halted six attempts by the occupiers to advance on the Sloviansk direction near the settlement of Zakytne, as well as toward Yampil, Platonivka, and Rai-Oleksandrivka.
- On the Kostiantynivka direction, the enemy conducted 19 attacks in the areas of the settlements of Pleshchiivka, Ivanopillia, Rusyn Yar, and Sofiyivka, and toward Illinivka and Stepanivka.
- In the Pokrovsk direction, Ukrainian defenders stopped 21 enemy assault actions in the areas of the settlements of Rodynske, Kotlyne, Novomykolaivka, Udachne, and Filiya, and toward Bilytskyi, Novooleksandrivka, and Novopavlivka.
- On the Olexandrivsk direction, the enemy attacked five times in the areas of the settlements of Novohryhorivka and Krasnohirske.
On the Prydniprovskyi direction, Ukrainian units repelled one enemy attack toward the Antonivskyi Bridge. Overall, this marks the 1,472nd day of the full-scale war in Ukraine, and the frontline situation remains tense.
The operational situation in Ukraine indicates a continuation of intense combat, particularly in the east and south of the country. The significant number of airstrikes and missile attacks by the enemy demonstrates its intent to maintain pressure on Ukrainian forces. Simultaneously, the effectiveness of the Ukrainian defenders, who are successfully repelling attacks, underscores their preparedness and resilience in the fight for the country's territorial integrity.
