On January 14, Ukraine is expected to experience frosty weather, caused by a Siberian anticyclone. The lowest temperatures are forecasted in the northern regions, where at night the thermometers may show between -15 and -20 degrees, and during the day -9...-14 degrees. Due to these conditions, there will be dangerous ice on the roads.

The weather in different regions of Ukraine will vary:

  • In the western regions, the temperature will be from -6 to -12 degrees.
  • In the eastern regions - from -6 to -11 degrees.
  • The central part of the country will experience frosts within -9...-15 degrees at night, while in the daytime the temperature will fluctuate from -7 to -12 degrees.
  • In Kyiv, forecasts suggest that at night the temperature will range from -15...-18 degrees, while during the day it will be -10...-13 degrees.
According to meteorologist Natalya Didenko, the weather in our country will be determined by a Siberian anticyclone in the near future, so it will be frosty everywhere.

Tomorrow in Kyiv, no significant precipitation is expected, however, there will be ice on the roads. Didenko also noted that frosty weather will last quite a long time, so residents of Ukraine should be prepared for cold temperatures in the coming days.

The frosty weather expected in Ukraine may significantly impact the daily lives of citizens, including transport operations and the possibility of emergencies due to icy conditions. It is important to adhere to safety rules on the roads and to be careful while moving.
