The war continues in Ukraine, resulting in numerous shellings and attacks by Russian forces. On December 31, there were 120 combat engagements, during which the invaders carried out 46 airstrikes and dropped 94 guided aerial bombs. In addition, Russian forces deployed 4659 kamikaze drones, indicating an intensification of hostile actions in various directions at the front.

In total, there were 2635 shellings of the positions of Ukrainian troops. In the South Slobozhansky direction, the enemy conducted 69 shellings, including attacking the positions of Ukrainian defenders near Vovchansk five times. In the Kupiansk direction, the enemy carried out six assault actions, while in the Lyman direction, Russian invaders attacked Ukrainian positions ten times. There were no offensive actions by the enemy in the Kramatorsk direction, however, the Russians attacked defense positions in the Kostiantynivka direction 16 times.

The situation at the front

In the Pokrovsk direction, the enemy attempted to break through the Ukrainian defense 27 times, while in the Oleksandrivka direction, Ukrainian units stopped 14 enemy attacks. Similarly, in the Huliaypole direction, Ukrainian defenders stopped 14 attempts by the enemy. In the Orikhiv direction, no combat engagements were recorded, but in the Dnipro direction, the enemy struck Mikhailivka with guided aerial bombs.

Thus, the situation at the front remains tense, and the war in Ukraine has been ongoing for 1407 days. Combat actions and shellings occur in various directions, indicating a continuation of active military actions by Russian forces.

Given the numerous combat engagements and significant number of shellings, the situation at the front in Ukraine remains critical. The intensification of Russian attacks, especially utilizing aviation and drones, indicates the enemy's intentions to continue military actions and attempt to weaken the defense of Ukrainian forces. This underscores the need for support and resources for the Ukrainian military in their fight to defend the country.
