1409th day of war: hundreds of clashes, thousands of shellings and enemy losses on all fronts
Since the beginning of the day, numerous combat clashes, missile strikes, and air attacks have been recorded from the enemy. The Ukrainian military is actively defending, inflicting losses on the enemy. As of January 2 at 22:00, there have been 104 combat clashes, while the enemy carried out 2588 shellings.
Situation at the front
On the Northern-Slobozhansky and Kursk directions, the enemy carried out 63 shellings and two air strikes. Ukrainian soldiers repelled 6 attacks in the Southern-Slobozhansky direction, while in the Kupiansk direction, the enemy attacked the positions of Ukrainian defenders twice. In the Lyman direction, 6 attacks were recorded, and in the Sloviansk direction — 5. The enemy also conducted 1 attack in the Kramatorsk direction.
- In the Kostiantynivka direction, the enemy attempted to penetrate the defense of the Ukrainian forces 14 times.
- In the Pokrovsk direction, the aggressor conducted 24 assault and offensive actions.
- Ukrainian defenders in the Oleksandrivka direction stopped 8 attacks.
- In the Huliaipole direction, 20 combat clashes were recorded.
- In the Orekhiv direction, the invader attacked the positions of Ukrainian units twice.
Since the beginning of the day, the Ukrainian military has carried out 1 missile strike with two missiles, as well as 42 airstrikes, using 113 guided bombs. The enemy recorded 2919 kamikaze drone strikes. In the Pokrovsk direction, 37 occupiers were neutralized, including 18 irretrievable. Additionally, 5 motorcycles, 2 warehouses, 5 units of automotive equipment, 1 ground robotic complex, 18 UAVs, 1 tank, 1 unit of special equipment, and 10 personnel shelters were destroyed.
