142 combat clashes in a day: how the defense forces disrupt the plans of the Russian military offensive

Situation at the front on December 30

On December 30, there were 142 combat clashes at the front, the Ukrainian defense forces continue their efforts to thwart the plans of the Russian invaders. The enemy launched three missile and 34 air strikes, used three missiles, and dropped 101 guided aerial bombs. In total, 2574 shellings and 2759 kamikaze drone strikes were recorded.

Enemy activity

In the South Slobozhansk direction, there were two airstrikes, five aerial bombs, and 60 shellings. Eight attacks by the enemy were repelled near Vovchansk, Vovchansk Huts, and Staritsia. In the Kupiansk direction, the enemy attempted to dislodge the Ukrainian forces four times, while in the Lyman direction, there were 10 attacks. Three attacks were stopped in the Sloviansk direction, where no offensive actions were recorded in the Kramatorsk direction.

In the Kostiantynivka direction, the enemy attempted to break into the defense 17 times, while in the Pokrovsk direction, 28 assault and offensive actions were recorded. Eleven attacks were stopped in the Oleksandrivka direction, and 22 combat clashes took place in the Huliaipole direction. The enemy also struck at the settlements of Orihiv and Zaporizhzhia, and the occupiers attempted to advance in the area of the Antonivskyi Bridge twice.

These events occur against the backdrop of the 1406th day of the full-scale war in Ukraine, as the defense forces continue to actively resist the aggression and maintain control over strategically important territories.

The situation at the front remains tense, as Ukrainian forces continue to conduct active defense and repel numerous enemy attacks. The increase in the number of combat clashes and airstrikes indicates the enemy's attempts to intensify offensive actions, requiring Ukrainian troops to maintain constant readiness and adapt to new threats. The support of international partners remains crucial, helping Ukraine strengthen its defensive positions and gain strategic advantages in this protracted war.
