Ukrainian General Staff Reports 153 Combat Engagements in a Single Day

Frontline Update: Ukrainian Military Details Intense Day of Fighting

The Ukrainian General Staff reported 153 separate combat engagements along the frontline over the past 24 hours. Russian forces maintained a high operational tempo, launching missile and air strikes alongside numerous artillery barrages on populated areas. Specifically, the enemy conducted one missile strike using 7 missiles and carried out 87 air strikes. The report also noted the use of 247 guided aerial bombs and 6,649 kamikaze drones. In total, Russian troops fired 3,215 times, with 75 of these attacks coming from multiple launch rocket systems (MLRS).

Russian air strikes were recorded in the areas of the following settlements:

  • Pokrovske
  • Velykomykhailivka
  • Samiilivka
  • Voskresenka
  • Huliaipilske
  • Vozdvyzhivka
  • Kamianka
  • Zalizne
  • Shcherbaky
  • Barvinivka

In response, Ukrainian missile and artillery units successfully struck a Russian unmanned aerial vehicle (UAV) command post.

Situation Across Key Frontline Sectors

On the North-Slobozhanske and Kursk directions, the enemy conducted 91 artillery attacks, including one from an MLRS, and carried out 4 air strikes using 12 guided bombs. On the South-Slobozhanske direction, Russian forces made 10 attempts to breach Ukrainian defenses near Vovchansk, Dvorichanske, and towards Prylipka, Kutkivka, and Fyholivka. Two clashes occurred on the Kupiansk direction near Pishchane.

On the Lyman direction, the enemy attacked six times, attempting to penetrate defenses near Drobysheve, Stavky, Lyman, Tverdokhlibove, and Novoselivka. On the Sloviansk direction, Ukrainian forces halted 11 enemy attempts to advance towards Yampil, Platonivka, Kryva Luka, as well as near Dronivka, Zakytne, and Riznykivka. No offensive actions were recorded on the Kramatorsk direction.

On the Kostiantynivka direction, Russian troops launched 12 assaults near the settlements of Kostiantynivka, Pleshiivka, Shcherbynivka, Berestok, Illinivka, Sofiyivka, Novopavlivka, and Ivanopillia. On the Pokrovsk direction, 41 enemy assaults were repelled near Vilyne, Zatyshok, Myrnohrad, Novooleksandrivka, Rodynske, Pokrovsk, Kotlyne, Udachne, Novopidhorodne, Molodetske, Dachne, Filiia, Shevchenko, and towards Toretsk.

On the Oleksandrivka direction, the enemy conducted five attacks in the areas of Yegorivka and Zlahoda, and towards Ivanivka, Zlahoda, Zelenyi Hai, and Verbove. On the Huliaipole direction, 21 attacks occurred near Huliaipole, Pryluky, Staroukrainka, and towards Sviatopetrivka, Zaliznychne, Zelene, and Krynychne. On the Orikhiv direction, two enemy attacks were repelled near Prymorske. No offensive actions were recorded on the Dnipro River direction.

On the Volyn and Polissia directions, no signs of offensive group formations were detected. This reporting marks the 1,445th day of Russia's full-scale war against Ukraine. The sustained intensity of these engagements underscores the ongoing pressure along a vast frontline, with both sides committing significant resources to the fight.

The frontline situation remains tense, with active combat operations from both sides. The rising number of clashes and artillery strikes indicates the conflict continues to escalate despite diplomatic efforts. Amid prolonged and intense fighting, monitoring developments and implementing measures to protect civilians is critically important. Meanwhile, Ukrainian defense forces continue their active work to strike enemy targets, demonstrating their readiness to resist the ongoing invasion.
