Ukraine War Update
On June 20, the front line saw 157 combat engagements. The enemy launched 56 airstrikes, dropping 163 guided aerial bombs. During the fighting, 6,373 kamikaze drones were deployed, and 1,843 shelling attacks targeted civilian settlements and military positions. The most intense situation is unfolding on the Pokrovsk axis, where 27 occupiers were eliminated.
Frontline Situation
On the Pokrovsk axis, 27 enemy troops were killed and 21 wounded over the past day. The fighting destroyed one tank, one self-propelled artillery system (SPG), six enemy vehicles, and five pieces of specialized equipment. Additionally, six artillery systems, three vehicles, and two drone control stations were damaged. A total of 231 unmanned aerial vehicles of various types were either destroyed or suppressed.
On the Northern Slobozhanskyi and Kursk axes, the enemy carried out 60 shelling attacks, two of which involved multiple launch rocket systems (MLRS). On the Southern Slobozhanskyi axis, the enemy stormed positions near Izbystske and Zybine six times, with three clashes still ongoing. In the Kupiansk axis, the enemy launched three attacks near Novoplatonivka, Kivsharivka, and Kupiansk-Vuzlovyi, with one engagement still in progress.
On the Lyman axis, the enemy made eleven attempts, all repelled by Ukrainian forces near Shiikivka, Olhivka, Novoselivka, Drobysheve, Derylove, and Lyman. On the Sloviansk axis, defense forces stopped thirteen enemy attempts near Kryva Luka, Kalenyky, Zakitne, and toward Rai-Oleksandrivka. On the Kramatorsk axis, one enemy assault was recorded near Tykhonivka.
On the Kostiantynivka axis, defense forces repelled eleven enemy assaults near Pleshchiivka, Ivanopillia, Illinivka, Rusyn Yar, and toward Kostiantynivka. On the Oleksandrivka axis, the enemy twice tried to advance near Piddubne and Ternove. On the Huliaipole axis, sixteen attacks occurred, with two clashes still ongoing. On the Orikhiv axis, the enemy stormed positions near Kamianske and Stepnohirsk twice.
This marks the 1,578th day of the full-scale war in Ukraine.
