Combat Operations in Ukraine Over the Past Day
Ukrainian defense forces engaged in 158 separate combat clashes over the previous 24-hour period. Russian troops maintained a high operational tempo, launching missile and air strikes while conducting thousands of artillery bombardments against Ukrainian positions. Despite this intense pressure, Ukrainian units successfully repelled assaults across multiple sectors, inflicting substantial losses on the invading forces.
Scale of Russian Strikes and Ukrainian Response
Invading forces carried out two missile strikes on Ukrainian territory, firing two missiles in total. The day also saw 80 separate air strikes, during which the enemy deployed 241 guided aerial bombs. Furthermore, Russian forces utilized 8,613 kamikaze drones, contributing to a total of 3,604 bombardments of Ukrainian military positions and settlements. Of these bombardments, 63 were conducted using multiple launch rocket systems.
In response to these attacks, Ukrainian missile troops and artillery successfully struck:
- eight areas where enemy personnel were concentrated,
- three command posts,
- five artillery systems,
- an ammunition depot,
- and another critical target belonging to the Russian invaders.
On the Siversk-Slobozhanske and Kursk directions, the enemy conducted two air strikes using five guided bombs and carried out 138 bombardments of Ukrainian positions and settlements, only two of which involved rocket artillery.
On the Southern Slobozhanske direction, Russian forces attempted seven assaults on Ukrainian units. The Kupiansk sector witnessed five attacks by the invaders. The Lyman direction was also active, with six enemy attacks, while on the Sloviansk axis, Ukrainian defenders repelled seven attempts by the occupiers to advance.
Another seven attacks occurred on the Kostiantynivka direction. On the Pokrovsk axis, Ukrainian defenders halted 25 offensive actions by the aggressor. The Olexandrivka direction was the scene of seven enemy assaults. The Huliaipole sector endured 45 attempts by Russian troops to advance.
The frontline situation remains tense as the full-scale war in Ukraine continues into its 1,467th day. This relentless pace of combat underscores the ongoing intensity of the conflict, with Ukrainian forces demonstrating resilience against a numerically superior adversary. Despite facing a barrage of attacks, Ukraine's military continues to mount an effective defense, systematically degrading Russian combat capabilities across the theater.
