Frontline Combat Activity
The Ukrainian General Staff reported 175 separate combat clashes along the front over the past day. Russian forces maintained a high operational tempo, launching missile and air strikes alongside numerous artillery barrages. In response, Ukraine's Defense Forces successfully struck key enemy targets, including personnel concentrations and other critical assets.
Russian attacks yesterday included two missile strikes utilizing two missiles. Furthermore, 89 air strikes were recorded, involving the release of 229 guided aerial bombs. The enemy also deployed 7,846 kamikaze drones and conducted 2,967 bombardments of military positions and settlements, 69 of which utilized multiple launch rocket systems.
According to the General Staff, Ukrainian missile and artillery units struck seven areas of enemy personnel concentration, one artillery system, three command posts, and an ammunition depot. This intense fighting is part of the ongoing full-scale war in Ukraine, now in its 1,459th day.
Enemy Activity Across the Front
Russian offensive activity was observed across multiple sectors of the front line:
- On the North-Slobozhansky and Kursk directions, enemy forces assaulted Ukrainian positions four times near the settlements of Starytsia, Lyman, Vovchanski Khutory, and Kruhle.
- On the Kupiansk direction, eight enemy assaults were repelled in the area of Pishchane and towards Novoosynove and Kurylivka.
- On the Lyman direction, the enemy attacked ten times near Zarichne and towards Drobysheve, Lyman, and Stavky.
- On the Sloviansk direction, Ukrainian defenders repelled ten attempts to advance near Yampil, Zakytne, Platonivka, and towards Rai-Oleksandrivka and Ozernyi.
- On the Kramatorsk direction, Russian forces carried out 26 assaults near the settlements of Pleshchiivka, Rusyn Yar, and Sofiiivka, and towards Kostiantynivka, Ivanopillia, Berestok, Novopavlivka, Illinivka, and Stepanivka.
- On the Pokrovsk direction, 39 enemy assault and offensive actions were halted near Rodynske, Myrnohrad, Pokrovsk, Kotlyne, Udachne, Molodetske, Muravka, and Novomykolaivka, and towards Novooleksandrivka, Kucheriv Yar, Serhiivka, and Novopavlivka.
- On the Orikhiv direction, the enemy attacked Ukrainian positions three times near Stepove.
- On the Huliaipole direction, Russian forces made 18 attempts to advance near Huliaipole and Zahirne, and towards Varvariyka, Olenokostiantynivka, Zaliznychne, and Sviatopetrivka.
- On the Prydniprovsky direction, three unsuccessful enemy offensive attempts were recorded.
The rising intensity of combat underscores the conflict's persistent and severe nature. The sustained attacks from both sides indicate Russia's ongoing efforts to solidify its positions and Ukraine's continued resolve in its defense.
