Concessional Lending Program "Housing for IDPs"

176 families from Luhansk region received apartments through the concessional lending program "Housing for IDPs" developed by the Ministry of Community and Territorial Development of Ukraine. This initiative aims to support internally displaced persons (IDPs) and provide them with housing during difficult times.

Program Conditions

The concessional lending program offers an interest rate of 3% per annum for a period of up to 10 years. In 2025–2026, a budget allocation of 850 million UAH is planned for the implementation of this program. For those who were held captive by Russian troops, a 99.5% compensation and exemption from the initial payment are provided. War veterans with disabilities and large families can expect a 75% compensation, while internally displaced persons from certain regions will receive a 50% compensation.

According to information, 476 concessional loans have already been issued for the first tranche of 25 million euros. It is planned to provide housing for about 1,100 IDP families, which is an important step in supporting those affected by the war and forced to leave their homes.
