Natalia Chmutina is an outstanding Ukrainian architect who gained fame for her talents and contributions to the development of Ukrainian architecture. Born in Kyiv, she created numerous masterpieces not only in the capital but also in other cities of Ukraine.





  • Natalia Chmutina was born on December 18, 1912, and passed away on November 8, 2005, in Kyiv.

  • She was awarded the title of People's Architect of the Ukrainian SSR in 1987 for her enormous contribution to the development of architecture.

  • Chmutina was also known as an educator, passing on her knowledge and experience to the younger generation of architects.

  • Her family roots are deeply connected to architecture, as Natalia's father, Boris Petrovich Chmutin, was also an engineer, which significantly influenced her career choice.
