Cadets from Ukraine Experience Azerbaijani Culture and History

A group of 18 cadets from Ukraine's Ministry of Internal Affairs recently took part in an international educational exchange in Azerbaijan. The trip aimed to foster stronger ties between the youth of both countries and to promote collaborative learning on a global scale.

Throughout their stay, the cadets immersed themselves in Azerbaijan's vibrant history and cultural landmarks. Their itinerary included a tour of Baku’s ancient core, Icherisheher, and a visit to the iconic Maiden Tower. They also explored several other prominent sites, such as:

  • The Palace of the Shirvanshahs
  • The Heydar Aliyev Center
  • The National History Museum
  • The Ukrainian House
  • The State Flag Museum
  • The Surakhani Ship Museum

In addition, the cadets enjoyed walks along the seaside boulevard and Dagustu Park, visited the Gala historical-ethnographic reserve, and attended a performance at the Water Palace Circus. This journey represents a significant milestone in the ongoing cooperation between Azerbaijan and Ukraine’s Ministry of Internal Affairs.

Promoting Cross-Cultural and Educational Partnerships

This international educational initiative plays a crucial role in building cultural and academic bridges between Ukraine and Azerbaijan. Strengthening youth engagement through such programs supports the development of mutual understanding and collaboration, which are essential for advancing educational and cultural exchange in both nations.
