Over 1500 Enemy Casualties Reported Amid 213 Clashes on September 18

Ongoing Combat Operations in Eastern Ukraine

On September 18, fierce fighting took place across the Pokrovsk and Kostyantynivka sectors, where Ukrainian forces engaged in 213 clashes resulting in over 1,520 Russian troop losses. Ukrainian troops demonstrated high effectiveness in destroying enemy equipment and resources. Throughout the day, the adversary launched missile and air strikes, deployed kamikaze drones, and carried out numerous attacks on civilian areas.

In the Pokrovsk sector alone, 29 enemy assaults were repelled, while 18 attacks were recorded in the Kostyantynivka sector. Hostile activity was concentrated in the following locations:

  • Bilytske
  • Sergiivka
  • Udachne
  • Kucherovyi Yar
  • Toretsk
  • Stepove
  • Dobropillia
  • Hannivka
  • Svitlohe
  • Krasnopodillia
  • Novohryshyne
  • Novopavlivka

In the Kostyantynivka sector, enemy assaults targeted these areas:

  • Kostyantynivka
  • Osokove
  • Novoselivka
  • Stepanivka
  • Mykolaipillia
  • Rusynyi Yar

Ukrainian aviation, missile forces, and artillery struck eight enemy troop concentration zones, destroying significant enemy assets including:

  • 2 drone control centers
  • 1 surface-to-air missile system
  • 1 tank
  • 5 armored combat vehicles
  • 73 artillery pieces
  • 1 multiple rocket launcher
  • 11 anti-aircraft defense systems
  • 16 ground robotic complexes
  • 1,816 unmanned aerial vehicles
  • 480 vehicles
  • 2 specialized enemy vehicles

During the same period, the enemy executed one missile strike and 89 air raids, dropping 312 guided bombs. According to the Ukrainian General Staff:

“Yesterday, the enemy launched one missile and 89 air strikes, dropping 312 guided bombs. Additionally, they deployed 10,588 kamikaze drones and conducted 2,952 attacks on civilian settlements and Ukrainian positions.” – Ukrainian General Staff

In the Sumy region, artillery shelling affected the following settlements:

  • Pysarivka
  • Ulanove
  • Iskryksivshchyna
  • Luzhky
  • Ivolzhanske
  • Yastrubyne
  • Khrapivshchyna
  • Maryne

Air strikes also targeted areas including Velyka Chernechchyna, Khutor Mykhailivskyi, and Sumy city. No enemy attacks were reported on the Northern Slobozhanshchyna and Kursk fronts, whereas 12 enemy assaults were repelled along the Southern Slobozhanshchyna direction, with skirmishes occurring near:

  • Ternova
  • Potykhonove
  • Starytsia
  • Shyroke
  • Mykolaivka
  • Zarubynka

Developments Across Other Front Lines

Enemy activity varied across other sectors, including:

  • 3 attacks in the Kupiansk sector
  • 5 attacks in the Lyman sector
  • 8 attacks in the Sloviansk sector
  • 1 attack each in the Kramatorsk and Oleksandrivka sectors
  • 11 attacks in the Huliaipole sector
  • 1 attack in the Orikhiv sector

No assault operations were detected on the Prydniprovskiy front, and no signs of offensive groupings have been identified in the Volyn and Polissya directions.
