Ukrainian Military Reports 182 Combat Engagements Across Front Lines

According to the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, 182 combat clashes occurred along the front on February 16. Russian forces launched a missile strike using four missiles, conducted 53 airstrikes, and dropped 140 guided aerial bombs. During the day's fighting, the enemy deployed 1,654 kamikaze drones and carried out 1,640 artillery attacks on Ukrainian settlements and military positions.

Frontline Situation Report

The situation remains tense across various sectors of the front. Specifically:

  • On the South-Slobozhanske axis, seven clashes occurred, with Ukrainian units repelling nine attacks; three engagements are ongoing.
  • On the Kupiansk axis, four attacks were repelled.
  • On the Lyman axis, 12 attacks were halted, with two more clashes continuing.
  • On the Sloviansk axis, Ukrainian forces repelled seven enemy attempts to advance; one clash is ongoing.

On the Kramatorsk axis, Russian troops attempted to advance five times, while on the Kostiantynivka axis, the occupiers carried out 14 assaults. The highest number of offensive actions by the enemy was recorded on the Pokrovsk axis, with 35 attacks. On the Oleksandrivka axis, eight attacks were halted; on the Huliaipole axis, 37 attacks occurred, with five clashes still in progress. On the Orikhiv axis, the enemy made one assault attempt, while on the Dnipro River axis, no offensive actions were recorded, though the enemy conducted airstrikes.

These events unfold on the 1,454th day of the full-scale war in Ukraine, underscoring the continued intensity of combat operations across the entire front. The sustained high level of violence highlights the ongoing strategic importance of the eastern and southern regions for both sides. Ukrainian forces continue to demonstrate resilience, actively defending against relentless Russian assaults aimed at making incremental territorial gains.
