Mykola Mushynskyi's First International Mission

19-year-old firefighter-rescuer from Kolomyia Mykola Mushynskyi, who represents the State Emergency Service of Ivano-Frankivsk region, has embarked on his first international mission. He is currently working in the burnt areas of France, where hidden smoldering hotspots remain after the flames have been extinguished.

Mykola's work involves searching, digging, dousing with water, and checking the smoldering hotspots. He noted:

“I looked at the volume of work and immediately wanted to get to work. I felt that I was needed here”

The Importance of International Cooperation

This mission highlights the importance of international cooperation in combating the consequences of natural disasters such as wildfires.
