In the capital region, overnight temperatures are expected to be between -15 and -17°C, rising to -10 to -12°C during the day. In the surrounding oblast, overnight lows could hit -20°C, with daytime temperatures falling to -8 to -13°C. Winds will be variable, blowing at 3-8 meters per second.

Meteorologists are also warning of hazardous conditions, including:

  • Icy glaze on roads
  • Reduced visibility due to fog

Significant precipitation is not expected, but drivers and pedestrians are advised to exercise caution due to the difficult weather.
