Nearly 4,000 Drones and 159 Guided Bombs: Russian Forces Engaged in 194 Combat Clashes in a Single Day

On April 21, the front line saw 194 combat engagements. The adversary continues to deliver heavy strikes using aviation, drones, and artillery. According to operational reports, the enemy carried out 50 airstrikes, dropped 159 guided aerial bombs, deployed 3,982 kamikaze drones, and conducted 2,112 shelling attacks on settlements and military positions. The Pokrovsk direction recorded the highest number of assaults.

This marks the 1,518th day of the full-scale war in Ukraine. In the Southern Slobozhanskyi direction, the enemy launched 4 airstrikes using 9 guided bombs. Additionally, 88 shelling incidents were recorded, including 3 from multiple launch rocket systems (MLRS). In the same region, the adversary twice attacked positions near Prylipky and toward Bochkove.

On the Kupiansk front, the enemy carried out two assaults near Novoosynove and toward Kurylivka. In the Lyman direction, Ukrainian forces repelled seven enemy storming attempts. The situation in the Sloviansk direction remains tense, with the enemy attempting to advance twice—toward Rai-Oleksandrivka and near Riznykivka.

In the Kramatorsk direction, occupiers conducted seven attacks, while in the Kostiantynivka direction, 25 assaults were recorded. The Pokrovsk direction was the most active, with 43 enemy attacks. Furthermore, 12 attacks were reported in the Oleksandrivka direction and 11 in the Huliaipole direction. In the Orikhiv direction, the enemy attacked five times, and in the Dnipro direction, four assault operations were carried out.

As the intensity of combat operations continues to rise, Ukrainian troops remain steadfast in defending their positions, striving to hold back the enemy's advance and ensure the safety of civilians in regions under attack.

The front-line situation remains extremely challenging, with active hostilities across multiple directions. Strategically important areas, such as Pokrovsk, continue to face immense pressure.
