Charity Event: 'Flower Workout' Unites Community for a Cause

Held in the parking lot of the Retroville shopping mall and backed by Music Box TV, the 'Flower Workout' charity event aimed to raise funds for children battling cancer under the care of the Tabletochki Foundation. Around 2,000 people from Kyiv and other Ukrainian cities took part in the initiative.

Event Highlights and Activities

The workout was led by Dasha Kvitkova alongside professional trainers Kirill Korolyov, Olena Chumak, Vitaliy Tymoshenko, Vasyl Luchko, and Maryna Piskun. The event kicked off with a welcome speech from Kvitkova, who expressed gratitude to attendees for their support. Notably, 16-year-old Tamara, a Tabletochki beneficiary who overcame cancer, addressed the crowd. The foundation’s executive director, Vyacheslav Bykov, also delivered words of encouragement.

Young talents and children’s groups performed on stage. Singer NICOLE presented a number accompanied by a flash mob involving roughly a thousand children. The event was hosted by Timur Miroshnychenko and Natali Solonik. Guests enjoyed activity zones provided by partners, featuring:

  • express mole checks
  • prize giveaways
  • sales of flower bouquets and treats

Dasha Kvitkova spent over two hours taking photos with guests, fostering a warm atmosphere. However, the concert portion featuring headliner Natalia Mogilevskaya was postponed to May 31. This concert will take place in the central atrium of Retroville mall, where fundraising for children will continue.

“I was told to hold on, but I can’t because you came here despite the terrifying and loud night we had. I am deeply grateful to everyone who saved us that night. I thank you for showing up. Even though you didn’t sleep and are tired, you are here supporting the children” – Dasha Kvitkova.

Overall, the 'Flower Workout' event drew a significant crowd and marked an important step in aiding children fighting serious illnesses.

This charity initiative highlighted strong public solidarity and active fundraising efforts for children in need of medical care. Such events underscore the critical role of community support in combating severe diseases, while also raising awareness about childhood cancer in Ukraine.
